Signs you may have a leak in your well or pipework:

• Pump running constantly

• High electricity bills

• Water collecting in areas it shouldn’t

• Low water pressure

A significant leak anywhere in the well piping lowers the water pressure in the system. So if the pressure is too low, your pump won't shut off and instead will continue running all the time.

If you notice that your well pump is always on, this isn’t a problem you want to ignore as it may cause bigger issues down the line.
